Chhattisgarh State was implemented JSY Scheme in the year 2006 across the whole state to provided safe institutional delivery with the key strategy to enable women to access institutional deliveries and thereby effect reductions in maternal mortality.The scheme had a differential incentive entitlement based on urban or rural areas.

   • Incentive provision for all women delivered at the govrnment hospital.
      Women from Rural area are getting - INR 1400 for institutional delivery
      Women from Urban area are getting - INR 1000 for institutional delivery

   • Incentive provision for BPL women delivered at the JSY empanelled hospital
      Women from Rural area are getting - INR 1400 for institutional delivery
      Women from Urban area are getting - INR 1000 for institutional delivery

   • Incentiveprovision for BPL Rural/ Urban women delivering at home is 500 Rs.
